With the new year fast approaching we have curated the hottest hotel openings for 2022, from Nobu Hotel’s Italian debut to COMO Hotels and Resort’s first foray into France. 

UK and Europe

The hotel boasts 200 stylish rooms and lavish suites, seven culinary-inspired restaurants and bars including an Orchid Tea Room and 1215 Bar, a state-of-the-art spa with 18 treatment rooms as well as 15 sophisticated meeting rooms and event spaces, ideal to celebrate milestones and host noteworthy gatherings in the beautiful English countryside.

The hotel will open its doors to the public January 1st 2022. A nightly stay in a Fairmont king room starts at £425.

Set in one of the most glamorous and legendary locations in London, Raffles London at The OWO will be the capital’s first Raffles property – a storied building that served as Winston Churchill’s base during the Second World War and was the birthplace of Ian Fleming’s James Bond. Many original architectural details have been preserved while also allowing room for updated, contemporary design elements.

Comprising of 120 rooms and suites, 85 residences, a collection of nine restaurants and bars and an immersive spa, the hotel and residences represent an incredible opportunity for the public to experience this historic property.

It is set to be completed late 2022 and will open to the public for the first time in more than a century. Rates TBC.

COMO Le Montrachet, Burgundy, France

Beautifully located in the heart of Burgundy, one of the world’s most prestigious wine regions, COMO Le Montrachet will bring the group’s contemporary flair to the sought-after Côte-d’Or region, providing unparalleled access to some of the most famous Grand Cru vineyards.

Built on the former historic Hotel Le Montrachet in Puligny-Montrachet, the new COMO property will be revamped and re-imagined by esteemed designer Paola Navone. This five-star hotel will be arranged across four heritage buildings, each of which will house sophisticated, sanctuary-like suites and rooms.

The phased opening of the hotel will also see a COMO Shambhala Retreat, the first of its kind in France, and exceptional dining options and exquisite wine experiences in one of the most beautiful settings.

The hotel is due to open its doors to the public in Q3 2022. Rates TBC.

Nobu Hotel Atlanta is set to open in 2022

Located in the iconic Phipps Plaza, Nobu Hotels has partnered with Simon Property Group to launch a new Nobu Hotel and Restaurant in the versatile development.

The opening of Nobu Hotel Atlanta will be accompanied by a number of exciting offerings, and the unique development will also house a curated dining experience, a 90,000 square-foot Life Time Athletic healthy living and entertainment destination, and a 12-story Class A office building, complete with a three-story lower level car park.

Three years in the making, construction of the project commenced in 2018, and all of the new elements will be seamlessly integrated into the existing footprint of the upscale shopping experience the Phipps Plaza is renowned for.

Nobu Hotel Atlanta is set to open in 2022.

Raffles Boston Back Bay Hotel and Residences, USA

The 35-storey building will be a new landmark in Boston’s skyline, with 146 residences, 147 guest rooms, and six restaurant and bar venues, including a sky bar and speakeasy

Raffles Boston will be the brand’s first mixed-use North American venture, featuring both a hotel and private residences.

Located in Boston’s prestigious Back Bay neighbourhood, just a block away from Copley Square, the 35-storey building will be a new landmark in Boston’s skyline, with 146 residences, 147 guest rooms, and six restaurant and bar venues, including a sky bar and speakeasy.

The property will feature state-of-the-art facilities and amenities. The striking three-story sky lobby, the first of its kind in Boston, will be the centrepiece of the property, complete with a grand staircase spanning the 17th, 18th and 19th floors.

The hotel is due to open its doors to the public in Q4 2022. Rates TBC.

Serving as a gateway to the Sahara, Cenizaro Hotels and Resort’s first desert resort, and the brand’s second opening in Tunisia, is surrounded by glistening golden sands, and is a place where the desert’s resounding silence is an elixir for the soul.

Set in 40 hectares of rolling dunes and swaying palms, the all-suite oasis comprises 50 desert-inspired villas each of which references local design and aesthetics. Boasting private terraces and swimming pools shaded by canvas canopies, each villa features bricks of Tozeur and hand-woven carpets.

With three dining experiences for guests to choose from, each of the spaces will serve up a different cuisine spanning Mediterranean, Tunisian and international.

The spa features a traditional hammam, eight treatment rooms and Turkish baths, whilst the kid’s club is complete with an observatory tower for spotting wildlife such as fennecs and gazelles.

The Residence Douz is set to open in Q3 2022.
