Las Vegas is home to some of the biggest and most lavish casinos and resorts in the world and it is a hot spot of entertainment for those who fancy different types of gambling in a luxurious setting. While the number and quality of casinos in Sin City makes it stand out from the crowd, it may surprise many to learn that it doesn’t hold all of the record-breaking resorts. From The Venetian Macao Resort Hotel to WinStar World Casino in Oklahoma, we take a look at three of the most impressive casino resorts in the world along with their casino offerings and impressive credentials.

WinStar World Casino and Resort, Oklahoma

It makes perfect sense to start this list with the largest casino in the world, which resides in Oklahoma, USA. Not a renowned gambling hub of the world, but it certainly holds the mightiest offering, and as our friends at Bingo Sites, who compiled this list (see here for a bit more about what they do) said, ‘it is certainly a behemoth among casinos, with its huge gaming space. The incredible size of this casino is difficult to justify in a place like Oklahoma, but it brings many gambling aficionados from outside the area.’

Everything gamers could possibly wish for can be found here in a luxurious setting among the nine city-themed gaming plazas which is said to take up almost 600,000 sq ft of space. More than 8,000 slot machines, 100 table games and a huge bingo hall (the casino’s origins lie in bingo) await those who appreciate these games, making up the largest game collection to be found anywhere in the world. There is also a 55-table poker room, high stakes rooms and a betting parlour ready and waiting for those who like to play a game of chance or hone their skills in a glamorous setting.

The sheer magnitude of the establishment means that visitors can enjoy many other activities in addition to gambling. Players can take a break from their gambling routine and regain their strength in the spa or pool bar, but also spend some quality time at the resort’s golf course, before dining at one of the 17 restaurants. Just like its Las Vegas counterparts, the casino has a Global Event Center and the Colosseum that can accommodate a combined 11,000 people watching amazing shows.

MGM Resorts International’s Aria Resort and Casino Las Vegas

While Aria Resort and Casino in Las Vegas holds a fraction of the gaming space of WinStar World Casino – 150,000 sq ft to be exact – this resort more than makes up for it in other areas. The structure sits at 4 million sq ft and 600ft high with no less than 4,000 guest rooms and suites, 16 restaurants, 10 bars, an 80,000 sq ft spa and salon and 1,800-seat theatre. Wow.

This resort is big on design and luxury and the casino is no exception. There is a 24-table poker room, a one-table, high-limit poker room with direct access to the cashier’s cage and 24-hour table-side dining, one-of-a-kind cocktails to sip on and slot machines galore.

Outside the casino area, players can purchase luxurious items at one of the many places incorporated into its huge shopping area. The high-rise towers host an exceptional hotel where gamers can stay over the night and enjoy flawless service – check out the ARIA Sky Suites for the ultimate in luxury. Just like other casinos in Las Vegas and the exclusive five-star hotels of New York and the west coast Aria offers truly amazing services in a lavish setting.

The Venetian Macao Resort Hotel

Said to be the sixth biggest building in the world and the largest single structure in Asia at 11 million sq ft, The Venetian Macao Resort Hotel, which opened in 2007 is quite the location. Modelled from its sister resort in Las Vegas which takes inspiration from Italian explorer Marco Polo and his travels across China, this offering is twice the size. From gondola rides to reclining at the V Retreat Spa, dining at its array of restaurants, which offer up cuisine from all over the world, to shopping in its wide selection of boutique stores, this resort is really rather impressive.

The casino, which comprises 550,000 sq ft of space, is open 24 hours a day and boasts 500 table games, 2,000 slot machines and unique games that can only be found here. There is also an exclusive high rollers club for VIP guests with the whole area being split into four themed spaces with a distinctive Italian-Chinese style.
